About Our Medical Director
Aman Nanda, M.D, C.M.D., has been the Medical Director at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - Oak Hill for five years. He has been an assistant professor of medicine at Brown University since 2001, Program Director of the Geriatric Fellowship Program at Brown University’s Warren Alpert School of Medicine since 2006, and Director of Geriatrics at Ambulatory Care and Home Care Program at Rhode Island Hospital since 2002.
Dr. Nanda received his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) at RNT Medical College in India, completed his residency in internal medicine at New York’s Flushing Hospital, his residency in geriatric medicine at St. Louis University Health Sciences Center, and his geriatric medicine and clinical epidemiology fellow at Yale/New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Nanda works with the East Avenue Walk-In Clinic, the Westminster Place Walk-In Clinic, and the Medical Steering Committee for the Rhode Island Department of Health, and belongs to the American Medical Directors Association.
Dr. Nanda says he chose to work at Oak Hill to be a part of the dedicated and highly competent team, to provide quality care to the short and long term patients, and to partner with a professional organization that is both Oak Hill and Kindred Healthcare.
